CATO 40X brings a new level of precision, versatility and functional elegance to stackable shell seating. Its essential lines and minimalist profile conceal an exceptionally efficient design, allowing up to 40 chairs to be stacked on a dedicated trolley. Crafted from steel and latest-generation fiber-reinforced polyolefin resin, CATO 40X is fully recyclable and the most sustainable Cato chair to date.

Unlike traditional mono-shells, Cato 40X features a seamlessly integrated seat system—available in polymer, wood, or upholstery—giving you absolute freedom of configuration without compromising on aesthetic purity.

A masterpiece of high-precision molding. The polymer seat integrates so flawlessly into the shell that it creates a continuous, perfectly flush surface. It delivers the clean, uninterrupted aesthetic of a solid monobloc chair, while unlocking absolute freedom of dual-color configuration.

Cato 40X sets a new standard, achieving a record-breaking stackability for a shell chair–up to 40 units on a tailored trolley. This ultra-compact stacking allows the entire stack to remain low, stable, and easly moved through any space, maximizing storage efficiency and flexibility for multi-purpose environments.
